We go out a little every day and practice and experiment. We do drill too like fire drills kids do in school. We pretend someone fell overboard and have to react. The person at the helm puts the boat in neutral then reverse and makes sure the boat has stopped. Then the get up and throw a life ring. And finally turn the boat around to go get the person staying far enough away. You don't want to run them over! We have done maneuvers to follow other crafts, followed bouys to get though a channel and Will has gotten us in and out of dock trying different methods. Kathy is getting much better at jumping to the dock with the stern line and tying off. This boating stuff is sorta fun!!

One of my best memories are of our Cookie Days together. Cliff worked at Lowes and enjoyed his job in the paint department. He got sick; he found out he had stage 4-bladder cancer. We went on our traditional breakfast together each time we got together over the years. He finished the first round of chemo treatments. But the cancer went into his bones. He kept smiling and living life to the fullest. He enjoyed ...
