Another Pictou Day
The storm circled with peeks of sun and then the sky just opened up and poured down leaving puddles and drips. But as evening approached it cleared so we ventured out for a walk about town. We found a few interesting sights and some old familiar ones too. The old train station still looks so inviting. The old post office is still for sale. And look, a stature dedicated to the first settlers that came over on the Ship Hector! The ship looks great even without all the masts and rigging, but imagine her with her mast up another step and the sails wrapped waiting to sail the harbor!! We sat at Carvers sipping coffee in the cool evening. Soon the place was filled; Dave and Darlene's son, Trevor, was celebrating a birthday here on open mic night.
