Ms M-Z and Mr. Bradley was so honored to be invited to Julie's Graduation Celebration.  Twelve years have past since Julie in kindergarten with Ms M-Z as her teacher!!  It was so much fun to see some other former students! Soul Picnic at Carmine and Robert's

Each year Carmine and Robert spend days preparing the most delectable foods to share with family and friends.  They black-eyed peas get soaked; the ham hocks are cooked in chicken stock before the collard greens are added.  The corn bread is baked; the chicken crisply fried. The potato salad mixed; the macaroni and cheese casserole baked. And then there are the deserts! Sister Trip 2010 Part Fifteen

PART FIFTEEN Kathy and Sueann got up and checked on Will; he had already departed.   They went and enjoyed a delightful breakfast of fruit, quiche, grits with sausage, with homemade zucchini and banana bread.   David, the owner, is a great wood worker and had samples everywhere.   Sueann gave Kathy a weed pot for her upcoming birthday. Sueann in the driver’s seat we headed towards Pittsburgh.   The New River Gorge was a good place to take a break.   Will had the same idea and was just crossing the bridge to get back on the highway so the three of them stopped for a photo opportunity.   Will got right back on the road and Sueann and Kathy lingered a while at the visitor center and talked about the time Forrest had brought her and the kids here.   Kathy shared how her and Will had stopped here and parked under the bridge.   The final miles went quickly.   Sueann and Kathy past Will parked at a rest area and therefore beat him to Pittsburgh by several hours.
