Western Pennsylvania Model Railroad Museum
Originally founded in 1938 as a railroad club today it is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to pormote and preserve the history of railroads in Western Pennsylvania. This exhibit is a 4,000 square foot, state of the art HO Scale model railroad running between Pittsburgh and Cumberland, MD. The setting is the early 1950s. Every detail is ther from houses, churches and factories along the route, to the topography of the hills and the flow of the rivers. Nick I think you should check this out next time you are up here! It really felt like taking an train ride through times gone by.
