Morning before Alisa and Cody's Reception

Image
Cocoa came to visit. Apryll made some breakfast for Ammon and everyone else helped themselves to whatever they wanted. Kathy and LaRae made up the bed in Alisa and Cody's room Lola your quilt looks beautiful! Meghan was getting her room organized so Kathy went around and cleaned up the bathrooms a bit. And before we all knew it the happy couple arrived from their honeymoon. They loved their room. We all laughed as Cody found all his clothes and shoes neatly in the closet. Cody's Mom, Cindy and one of his six sisters joined us to admire Lola's quilt. Beautiful. They they spotted a gift on the dresser. Congratulations Hawaiian style. And.... Their woven blanket with the Navoo temple on it. Everyone mingled in the kitchen. Cocoa enjoyed some crumbs while Ryan stared at the camera...or was he staring at Kathy. LaRae and Kathy hug up all his little clothes; it was like playing with doll clothes.  Fun!! And soon the time came to dress for the reception.

Back on the mainland

Rental dropped off; they didn't even glance at the scratch in the bumper; we were lucky. Three flights; Honolulu to LA, LA to Houston, Houston to Nashville. We picked up the Roadtrek and drove over to Columbia. And we found the packing and moving in progress. There were hugs and greeting, and more hugs. The place was almost empty. Meghan made everyone turkey sandwiches; it was good to enjoy left overs. This little man is growing up! Kathy helped bring all the supplies up from the basement and load up the vans several times. And the move to the Big House began.  Cocoa has a friend now, Zoey. The big move was in progress here while at the Lumber Yard, Debbie and Carol and Shelly were decorating for Alisa and Cody's wedding reception tomorrow.

Last Day in Hawaii

Our eventing ended with a few more episodes of Big Bang. And our morning came, our last in Hawaii this year.  We did the usual coffee and check in on our IPads and IPhones on the rest of the world. Breakfast was dolphins and turkey cinnamon rolls. Next came a nice morning walk around the neighborhood. We saw some red-headed cardinals. Back at Justin's; this is a poytil palm tree. Resting up, chatting, relaxing. Justin added a few more Star Trek ornaments to the tree. We got our bags packed. Time to say good bye; Justin has a great home. Bye, Justin.  miss you all ready. Headed to drop off the rental car.
