Natalie's Graduation Dinner Celebration

Natalie was in Kathy's kindergarten class in 1998-1999. She was very quiet and reserved. She was smart and participated, yet not one to be out front.  Instead she watched and observed what was going on around her. Natalie graduated early from Cornell University and will soon be attending medical school (either Wakefield in NC or Temple in PA).  We were invited to celebrate with her and her family and friends at Fox Chapel Racket Club.

Natalie greeted us at the door with a hug and "thank you for coming".  We shared the above pictures with her, her Mom and Dad and many of their friends throughout the evening.  Before dinner snack was stuffed mushrooms, Texas size shrimp rolled in pistachio nuts and fish bites.

This is Natalie all grown up with her kindergarten teacher, Ms M-Z.

Kathy enjoyed a Cornell Cocktail of cranberry juice and champagne.

Loved that the napkins were folded like trees and there were bowls of M&Ms on the tables; each M&M had a picture of Natalie on one side and "Cornell 2015" on the other.

Family and friends were all in a celebratory mood.

We mingled meeting many.

Kathy chatted with Natalie's Mom, Michelle and met more guest.

Kathy stood with Natalie, her Mom and her Grandmother.

There were lots of people taking pictures.

Dancing and

great food!

We ended the meal with chocolate covered strawberries.

There was more mingling
Natalie's boyfriend, Adam and their high school math teacher.

And more dancing...

Small world: at our table sat Jim Halfhill who was a ski instructor at Seven Springs.  He remembered Will when he was an instructor there back in the early 80s!

Kathy found the cookies!

The rumball was devine!

We sat a while longer enjoying the evening and left wishing Natalie well on her next adventure, medical school

Wishing you well, Natalie.
