Days pass in Pictou, Nova Scotia

Al stopped over and brought us some homegrown veggies; that is one thing we miss not having property.  Thanks Al, we are gonna enjoy these!

On our stop to the visit Ship Hector today we saw Richard caulking; that is putting cotton and oakum between the planks.

There is always a photo opportunity too; see our boat int he background?

John stopped at the Quay.  Kathy loves photo opportunities.

Dave stopped by and gave us the finished painting; see Will and I sitting in the corner.  We took a time machine back to 1773 to see the arrival of the ship in Pictou Harbor!

Dave joined us for dinner; we had a lobster roll, it was filled with lobster and the plate was filled with fries.  Dave had the sweet potato fries; they were good too.

Desert time!

The blueberry grunt is the best!

John stopped and played us a little tune on Will's guitar.

We stopped up at the MacIntosh's and Dave was in the kitchen.

Katie and Zoey enjoyed their dinner sitting around the computer.

While we enjoyed ours around the kitchen table.

And then there was desert.

Dave painted the pictures for these Canadian stamps; I will have to get a close up for you; they are amazing.

Oh the Ship Hector....

This is the boat we are going to look at tonight if all goes well.

There is always something going on at the Quay.

We caught Keith trying to stay on the lines; Kathy taught that skill in Kindergarten.

Keith put up Will's knot tying exhibit he made back in 2002 when we were on the rigging crew with Raymond and Bill.

Darlene's flowers are coming to an end of the season; they smell so pretty.

She is so crafty; she is making duck-tape wallets!  There is a video tutorial she found and now just makes them.  Kathy got one for her birthday.

Something new again on the Ship.  The windless is back up!  You can go to the Ship Hector FB page and watch a video of how they got it in place that Ashley made.

This is Ashley working on the video.

We went to watch Keith and the Pictou bagpipers and drummers.

Love seeing the different kilts; and the little one.

We went to see the play at the deCoste written by John Meir.  Sypder was the main character, Alexander Cameron who came to Nova Scotia in 1773 aboard the ship Hector.

Robbie MacInnis and Justin Desmond who played
along with Fleur Mainville.
John brought us back stage of the deCoste; look at all the signed posters of performers.
