Lake Fenton Feels like Family

Mary's grandkids were coming in for a week of fun. We prepared to head out when the neighbors came over.  We chatted away and Denise and Richard and the boys came over.



Kathy had given Denise and Tina a grand tour of the Roadtrek and now it was Denise's turn to give a tour to Carson and Connor.

When Carson was just a little guy, Grandma Mary had submitted a picture into a magazine baby picture contest; it was chosen and printed.  Today Carson learned it was National Enquire that the picture was posted in.

Carson made some pretzels with cinnamon and sugar and brought some to share.




Living around Lake Fenton is like living with your extended family.  Good feelings and happy times from morning till night.  Thanks Mary and Bob for making us feel like family.

Update: morning started early with vitals checked every four hours, bloodwork ( interesting side note: you are given an IV port in the emergency room, but that port is not used to retrieve blood for any of the various tests once you are admitted. Instead someone comes and draws blood through a new prick hole each time. ).    I started taking a new pill, Imdur, that helps keep the arteries open. Meals In Hawaii

I would say we ate well when we were with Justin in Hawaii in May/June! Yea, I know, Coffee isn't a meal. But coffee is a good way to start the day! Enjoyed a beer from time to time. Red wine is good with a meal too. But mostly we have water with meals; Will likes a squirt of sweet lemon in his.

Pandemic

 This has been a strange year. We arrived in Florida in March and have stayed home since. That is about 6 months now. The Covid-19 virus has set the world to be a different place with stay at home orders, restaurants and bars closed, shelves in the grocery stores empty of toilet paper and antiseptic good, virtual school and doctor visits, hospitals that don’t let visitors enter and no only emergency care, wearing a mask when you are in public and people staying six feet apart. Who knows what the new world will be like after this.
