Silver Dollar City

We had a very busy day delivering mail, dropping off items at Goodwill, stopping at Allen's RV to have the freezer door looked at so decided to head on over to Silver Dollar City and relax with some homemade icecream.  They make it fresh every day!!

We caught a few songs by the Chapmans

Waved at the passengers on the train and tried to warn them about a train robbery that was sure to happen.

The big Bluegrass and BBQ festival continues until June 3 and we are able to use our RedHead Express Roadie passes so we are taking full advantage of the opportunity.

Third Generation Bluegrass was very entertaining.

This guy dipped his had in hot wax several times and ended up with a hand candle!

Loved watching the woodworking shops.

This little guy was enjoying an afternoon snack.

Love it!!

As the park closes people flock to Echo Hollow, the largest amphitheater in Missouri.

And it is big and steep.

The County Nights show was worth the climb!!

Comedy broke up the show putting everyone in that Wow kinda mood.

there was a tribute to country music!

He could really play!!

Loved the country songs.

There was a disappearing act!

The Silver Dollar City Singers did some gospel.

The show ended with a tribute to the veterans in the audience.

So if you go to Silver Dollar City in Branson, MO, remember to stay after the park closes for the Echo Hollow Show!

was all the climbing before the ankle injury? Maybe the cause?

Mary, still using the ankle. Stepped wrong off a riock I'd climbed up on to get a better shot. Just one little step down about a week ago now. Still a little puffy. But healing.
