Sister Trip 2010 Part Fifteen

PART FIFTEEN
Kathy and Sueann got up and checked on Will; he had already departed.  They went and enjoyed a delightful breakfast of fruit, quiche, grits with sausage, with homemade zucchini and banana bread.  David, the owner, is a great wood worker and had samples everywhere.  Sueann gave Kathy a weed pot for her upcoming birthday.

Sueann in the driver’s seat we headed towards Pittsburgh.  The New River Gorge was a good place to take a break.  Will had the same idea and was just crossing the bridge to get back on the highway so the three of them stopped for a photo opportunity.  Will got right back on the road and Sueann and Kathy lingered a while at the visitor center and talked about the time Forrest had brought her and the kids here.  Kathy shared how her and Will had stopped here and parked under the bridge.  The final miles went quickly.  Sueann and Kathy past Will parked at a rest area and therefore beat him to Pittsburgh by several hours.

Back at Sueann’s Don welcomed us home with hugs and a vase full of roses for Sueann.  Pizza was the dinner choice.  Kathy and Sueann toasted to their Sisters' Roadtrip.  That was just about finished when Will arrived determined to make it to Beech Road so off he and Kathy went.  Just a few miles and Sueann called; Kathy had left her telephone.  A flip around of the Roadtrek, a hand-off of the phone and off to Beech Road Kathy and Will go.
