River's Casino Pittsburgh

A few weeks back we were out on Maria and Cliff's boat listening to the "Beatles" right outside the casino, when we were asked to take a photographer on board. That is how we got dinner passes for tonight. We all arrived  hungry as the buffet on Friday's is renowned for the seafood lover in all of us, well maybe not Barb, but she had plenty of choices to make her happy too. There were about six different cuisines and a table full of such delights as Alaska crab legs, fresh peeled shrimp, oysters, clams and lobster claws. Carousing the other areas we found shrimp cooked every way imaginable: scampi, fried, breaded, in sauces, grilled, broiled, boiled and fresh. The smoked salmon, trout and tuna melted in your mouth. There were plenty of meats, potatoes and veggies, for those with their stomachs out of the water.

After we had gorged ourselves with plate after plate of delectable goodies we had deserts; chocolates, puffs, pies, pastries, puddings, cakes, cookies, and thick chewy baklava.

Then came the gaming rooms, the slots and the chicken. Yes, the chicken who pecks out a good game of tic tac toe.  Will competed and the chicken won!  Kathy did a little better on the slots raking in her winnings a few pennies at a time; at evening's end she added up a nice $40.
For a fun night; head down to River Casino!
