Mark Joins Carmen in New Castle

August 24, 2007
We drove up to New Castle, about two hours from Jayne’s, where our dentist is located. Our first stop was Conney Island Hotdogs. They are the best hotdogs smothered with chili sauce and onions. They are so good. Then we went to see Dr. Carmen Cagno, a great no-pain dentist. His son-in-law, Mark Ziegler, has joined the practice. Will got Mark and liked his style. He is young, fresh out of school and ready to attack teeth. Will has had on going pain and they found it to be a bad root and so started a root canal, a process that takes several visits. Dr. Mark sent Will home with painkillers and will continue the root canal next week. Kathy was to get measured for a night guard to help with her grinding teeth problem, but when we got there the girls in front found that her dental insurance doesn’t cover it. The devise is made for TMJ that the insurance doesn’t cover. Maybe we could call it something else! The fact we were going to use the devise for a different reason didn’t seem to matter. That is now a letter writing campagne for Kathy. If you want a painless dentist in New Castle, PA contact Carmen or Mark at 724-658-2055

It was a reunion at the Fox Chapel Physical Therapist’s Office. Jeanne and Dr. Campbell were happy to see Kathy, but not for her sore back. Dr. Campbell did an exam; the pelvic bone was out of place. The moist hot compresses felt so good on her back. The stretches even felt good. It was with Dr. Campbell did his magic that things go a little uncomfortable, but it was magic. There was no more pain. Jeanne came in and put little patches connected to wires on Kathy’s lower back; little electric impulses combined with an ice pack were to relax the muscles. Kathy went home with three stretches to do twice a day and pain free. Well that lasted until some time in the night. Hopefully the stretches will help. Her return visit is next Thursday.

sorry about your back pain but just a week ago the doctor had Bob get a battery pack with the 4 patchs that stick on and send impulses. He wears it for 40 minutes at a time on his back or wrist..It is called Empi..
