290 Stops Three

Nice entrance, but the drive in is terrible down a long washboard roadway.

They need to drag a tire to smooth out the roadbed.

We saw a sissor-tail sitting on the fence.

Once down to the winery it was great! texaswinetrail.com/wineries/woodrose-winery

Woodrose Winery makes a wonderful afternoon outing for any occasion. We pride ourselves on providing a relaxing, delicious, and educational experience- from our back deck under the trees to a self-paced, seated wine tasting to regular events featuring gourmet food from around the world specially selected to pair with the wines.
There were cats and dogs.

We were greeted with a friendly hello and told we could look around since we were not tasting today.

Good use of corks.

Beautiful setting in the trees.

They have their own glassware.

Loved the treed setting.

Or you could relax on the deck.

The main room looked like a fun place.

They are adding a BBQ building. If it wasn't for the road to get in, this was our favorite so far.

The Seventh was Pedernales Cellars.  They have the largest underground barrel cellar in Texas; it was close to closing time so we didn't get to see it.

Nice entrance.

They too won saddles!

They have their own olive oils.

Award winning wines.

Tee-shirts and

other gifts.

Neat poster.

Wines for sale.

And an area for members.

Tasting area.

Their own glassware.

Neat vinegars

And then there is the view!

What a view!

Lots of areas to sit and enjoy the views.

A century plant growing out front.
