We are heading west on route 83 enjoying the views and the sound of our wheels rolling along the pavement. In the sky we see small blimps that hold cameras to check the border. We arrived in Roma where we stopped to stretch our legs and check out the National Birding Center. The only birds we saw were LLBs, little brown birds, mostly sparrows, and inca doves. Inside the center are exhibits about the area. Including this one about the bricks made in the area; see the ones for PA and PPG. There are many many buildings that are old and run down; a few they are restoring The cacti are blooming; some strange bugs are pollinating and getting nectar What a grand view you have across into Mexico. You can see the bridge is lined up for coming into the country. But going into Mexico is open except for a few people walking across. A few more views of the older buildings...

It is fun to have the sports car to drive around in. Will got it all washed up. Watched the Christmas Parade on SPI The mayor pushed the button for the tree lighting. From the SPI boardwalk we got a glimpse of the Rosette Spoonbill. Nice pink bird with a funny bill. Love our sportbrella at the beach; it blocks the wind and gives us a shade spot too. This bird with the yellow feet and the red and white bill has a funny loud call. Sundays are always at Harley's listening and dancing to Wildcat Thicket. The Grinch.... Pushing the sleigh.... The Grinch at the Laguna Vista Tree Lighting Nugget, the Harley's chicken, is getting bigger. Great seeing friends from up north returning to the valley! I got to help with the BBQ one Sunday.
