Evelyn Martinelli

Kathy flew from SanAntonio to Atlanta by herself to spend time with her brother  Evelyn was Kathy's sister-in-law, married to her brother, Nick for 65 years. Evelyn passed to the Lord the end of March.  It was a nice viewing with friends from the church She is buried in Atlanta where they lived. Evelyn taught Kathy how to make chocolates; she used to give classes at Cake Art, the store she and Nick owned.  She always said that the presentation was as important at the chocolates inside the box.  This is a seed farm.  We love walking around each spring to see the flowers in full bloom and then watch the hummingbirds.

We stopped at this refuge and was disappointed by the greeting we didn't get, but we headed out for a short hike. Kathy wore her sun bonnet from Progresso. We saw some interesting critters and birds.

Making Memories

Each day time seems to tick along faster.  Time seems to be the master. Be in the moment they say. But such fond memories pop up along the way. Days gone by make me smile.  Wish I had them all in a file. Such good times all the way back to childhood days. They are in a bit of a haze. Now I make memory books. I can peek back at earlier looks. Remember the good, the bad and the sad.  I'm glad of all that I have had. Another day, another memory; capture them all.  Pretty soon they all roll around like a ball. But seeing them roll and bounce in and out of time is what life is all about. When we are gone only the memories are left; so have no doubt. Make new memories everyday!   And 2018 is just beginning.  Let the memories continue!
