Evelyn Martinelli

Kathy flew from SanAntonio to Atlanta by herself to spend time with her brother 
Evelyn was Kathy's sister-in-law, married to her brother, Nick for 65 years.
Evelyn passed to the Lord the end of March. 

It was a nice viewing with friends from the church

She is buried in Atlanta where they lived.
Evelyn taught Kathy how to make chocolates; she used to give classes at Cake Art, the store she and Nick owned.  She always said that the presentation was as important at the chocolates inside the box.
When we would visit we always played Chicken-Foot; Evelyn liked to win.

Will and Nick would go downstairs and talk of manly things and Evelyn and Kathy would go upstairs and look through picture books.  She loved to tell stories about the family.  The pictures would just be the spark for the stories that told of the times before and after the captured memory.

Robin is a private investigator and 

showed Kathy her office.

Doug and Robin took Kathy and Becky and Bruce to the largest aquarium in the USA.  It was a good bonding experience for family that had not spent much time together.  Becky and Doug had not seen each over in over 15 years!

We enjoyed dinner at Foxes BBQ out near where Kristi and Joe live; it was good getting to know them better too.  Kristi is a police officer and Joe a fireman.

Robin and Kathy went for a massage, dinner out, and pedi and mani.  The ride home was interesting as there may have been cars following us.
Nick mostly wanted to do his own thing, but one day came over and brought the DVD of Evelyn's TV demonstration of making chocolate.

My brother lost his wife recently; she walked into the next room so to speak and we won't see her again in this life.  She is waiting for us, for a bit, somewhere near with Jesus and all those that have gone before.


Back in San Antonio, Will came and picked Kathy up.  Together again.

Pandemic

 This has been a strange year. We arrived in Florida in March and have stayed home since. That is about 6 months now. The Covid-19 virus has set the world to be a different place with stay at home orders, restaurants and bars closed, shelves in the grocery stores empty of toilet paper and antiseptic good, virtual school and doctor visits, hospitals that don’t let visitors enter and no only emergency care, wearing a mask when you are in public and people staying six feet apart. Who knows what the new world will be like after this.

Clifford Karl Lambert

Cliff married my little sister, Maria and became part of our family. We traveled to Italy together one summer Cliff had the coolest Man Cave! He really enjoyed technology and used it at work, home and helped everyone enjoy theirs too. He bought a boat that he and my sister enjoyed for many years. He walked his daughter down the isle. And welcomed Travis into his family. Not long after Layla was born and he became a very proud Pap Pap. He and my sister retired to Florida. Where Cliff learned to golf. One of my best memories are of our Cookie Days together. Cliff worked at Lowes and enjoyed his job in the paint department. He got sick; he found out he had stage 4-bladder cancer. We went on our traditional breakfast together each time we got together over the years. He finished the first round of chemo treatments. But the cancer went into his bones.
