RedHead Express at the Earle Theater in Mt Airy

Today we are in Mayberry country,  Mt Airy, NC.

Deputy sheriff, Barney Fife waved as he escorted RedHead Express to the Earle Theatre for their performance tonight.

Double parking out front made the unloading much easier than carriyng everything up the back steps.

Let the hauling begin....

Isn't this this a beautiful historical treaure.

All loaded in and time to set up for tonight's show.

Kendra needed to change her guitar stings.

Kathy had a few minutes to talk with Brett about the state of the country, what is happening in the world and the joys of travel.

Meanwhile the set up continues.

This is how Brett works out!

Video clips of this and that behind the scenes are going to come out in a video soon.

Ready for voice check....

LaRae is teaching Ryan how to play banjo.

Sean uses his IPhone to control the sound.

Apryll uses her IPhone to check FB.
Sean checks the set list; Kendra tunes her guitar.
And before you know it the theater is filled!

Do you see someone you know?

Let the show begin!

Will's cousins, Trish, Rich and Eric brought their friends Patty and Dan to hear  RedHead Express.

Sister moments take place even on stage.

"Hi everyone.  Are you ready for the show?"

Joseph is on drums for RedHead Express!!!

View from Kathy's seat.

The girls brought up Mom and Dad to do a song with them.

Alisa just doesn't want to stop fiddling so Dad can continue to sing.....

The Walker Boys are also invited to the stage to do a few numbers.

Ammon on bass,

Joseph on mandolin and fiddle,

and Sean on banjo.

At intermission the girls sell merchandise and

sign autographs.

They pose for pictures; here Kendra is with our friend, Billie.

Alisa signs a picture for Rich.

This is the view from the balcony.

Second part....

Brett sings Old Monk Daniels into the banjo just the way Jim Connor did when he taught it to him.

Some cloggers got up during one quick song!

Photo op....

And time to clean everything up

and put it all back in the trailer.
