Somerset to McClure Summit

Image
This was our pull off along route 133 where we spent the night just beyond the Somerset coal mine. Along the road we found some interesting sculptures; this was our favorite. Great gardener with his lantern. Wow, that is a lot of wire twisting to make those cactus needles! Today is a good day to drive! They sent out Kevin from Phill's Towing.  Between Will and Kevin they were able to get the Raodtrek up on the tow bed without scraping the bottom off the back tray. The Roadtrek look so big up on that tow bed! It was about an hour drive to Hotchkiss. And we talked with Brett at Brett's Automotive; he said he would see what he could do.  If nothing today we were w...
