We enjoyed our morning coffee on the lani while checking emails and looking at yesterday's pictures. Then we took a morning walk; that is the Disney Resort next door. The walkway is about three miles from end to end; we did about two miles. We we got back to our resort they were giving a talk out on the great lawn about activities going on through the week. Captain Doug talked about the boat trips and pulled a raffle number. Will won!! We are going on a boat trip tomorrow!!! We had free cakes, pineapple and coffee after the talk; worth going to the talks! Check out the redheaded cardinal sitting on the rock!! We enjoyed the morning pool time. This is our resort where the blue dot is; two lagoons north is the Disney Resort. Then decided to go for a drive to hike out to the western most point on the island.

We drove from our resort west along the coast highway. At the dead end there is an old road that we began to hike along. The views were spectacular! The rugged coast was so awesome! We found natural bridges! Along the way we stopped for a snack. And continued along the path, but the path dropped away so we climbed the rocks and peeked into tide pools as we continued. We came to a fence with sliding doors. And continued on; the path got sandy but we could see the end. We made it to the western most point on Oahu ! The waves were much larger around the bend! It is out here that there are 80 foot waves! And Hawaiian Monk Seals. We saw two sunning themselves. There was broken ancient choral and we selected some prize pieces. Those seals were so peaceful. What a special place worth the three mile hike to get out here. But it was time to turn around. Can you see the beak inside that nest? It is a Shearwater bird!!! Can you find this one? The views on the way back were just as spetacular! Bac

The mornings are when the big planes fly over while we are enjoying our breakfast on the lani. We took a morning constitutional all around the resort. Then we headed to Honolulu to pick up Justin. We stopped on our way back and picked up some goodies for dinner. Pool time! The little dove became our pool side companion. We found baby pineapples on our walk-a-bout with Justin. Will grilled up three different fishes for dinner. While Kathy got the table set up. Everything was perfect. Well, these are out of order because we watched the sunset before dinner, but you will enjoy the photos just the same we are sure!
