Luckenbach Texas

April 9, 2009

We spent the morning listening to music at Luckenbach then drove around a bit and ended up at the park.

We were sitting at Ladybird Johnson Park when we saw a flock of about 15-20 scissor tailed flycathers. They look so funny flying with that long tail opening and closing like a pair of scissors! While looking up at them we saw a helicoper with a big bucket come in and land at the airport! It must have been helping with putting out the big fires up north of here.
