North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher
November 8, 2007
The North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher was a great adventure. We came head to head with an alligator, touched stingrays and horseshoe crabs, met a baby Loggerhead turtle and heard his story, listened to a scuba diver talk about the sharks and fish in the tank with him, smiled with a moray eel, watched an octopus feed, and built a paper tube squid. It was sunset as we crossed the intra coastal water on the ferry at Cape Fear. We arrived in Southport and found the marina where we had dinner and…yep, watched West Wing episodes.
