A birthday game begins with Poobiebaubie passing Damiana a card Inside are 16 envelopes She lines them up And picks just one. She hands the one she picks to Poob. Then she opens all the ones she didn't get. Nope,,,, All the ones she didn't get. And then what she gets. Money for a manicure; a happy birthday girl. Finn does a few card tricks for us. Poob tries to do a trick too. Okay lets play War…. Time for dinner. Giggle times. Family time. Smile. Meow. Finn and Arwen. Playing Fish. Time for cake. Make a wish…. Blow out the candles. Tent time. This has been a family tradition since we were children when Mom made cookies with us. We arrive at Sueann's early; this year Carmine and Kathy stayed the night before as there was a storm coming and we didn't want to miss due to weather. The lights went out just as we put the first batch in the oven. Good thing for phones with flashlights. See the ice on the trees; it must have pulled down the electric lines. Carmine is in charge of the mixing. Sueann does the rolling with Don's help We are a good team. Dough and more dough; oh my how many batches do we need!! Kathy counts and packages all the cookies. Sueann is rolling a big worm!! Kathy and Maria are rolling twisters. Twisters are a favorite. Carmine's station. Dough for the biscotti; toss that dough. Grind those nuts. What a team we make. Soemtimes we are a crazy team! Kathy Martinelli-Zaun William G Bradley, JR visitvango@gmail.com Today is a good day to drive!
