French Trip- Picnic at Best Western Riquewihr then out for desert.
Ksenia put out the spread of cheeses, meats and fresh French bread. We tried this Maribella, but it was too much like flowers! And of course the wine. Our evening walk brought us thru the city at night; we didn't see many people out as it was a cool night, but we did find a nice place, for coffee and cream brulee with the sugars caramelized just right.

Our room at the Best Western Le Schoenenbourg in Riquewihr overlooks the vineyards. A short walk past the fish pond leads you to the arched entrance to the central city. It is like entering a storybook. We walked into the Carriage Museum and Will tried a little calligraphy. The rain didn't keep people away! Just outside our hotel is a Great Sequoia planted in 1856!
