The rain patters on the roof, it is so quiet we can hear each drop. Looking out through the raindrop puddles on the windows gives a scene like a George Seurat' s painting. Enjoyed a fresh potato ( thank you Sue and d) and the last of my birthday cake. The rain sang me another round!  The wind whistled along.  Temperatures have dropped and there is that falling chill in the air. It is only August so I hope the sun pushes this weather north. Our resident fox wondered by before the rain searching for breakfast. Bet he too is thinking it is a chilly morning for August.  Today is a good day to drive!
